Would you recommend using this oil in any m32 carl?

My mates got a astra 1.9cdri with m32 n hes ao scared of his gearbox lol.
well since i have the single mass conversion kit the box has always rattled lots at idle
the gm oil never kept it quiet atf/mtf
i put some 75w80 that was a bit better but had problems getting 3rd
put this ep90 in and at 1st could not get any gears but now the baulk rings got the new oil on them it works well and there is reduced rattle at idle

i will run it for 2000miles then swap it out like i normally do :)
LODEXOL MTFE 75W is what i will go with next time

the m32 calls for Transmission oil SAE 75W-85 API GL4

how did it split ? (too much power ?)
it was a £7 gator from the local car parts i went in and said the gator had failed he asked how long its been on i said a year he said thats good
my reply was the other side had been on 11years lol
need a new cv asap now cant trust the 3rd of a turn holding the shaft in the hub
Sounds quite painful having a split thingy mate, glad you go it sorted out.

ok change of plans i should've done this from the start
astra vxr passenger side shaft with z20lel outer cv

vxr on top with knock off cv
astra g with vectra c m32 inner cv (lower)
WP_20160423_15_27_33_Pro.jpg

and the new mk4 cv's i bought look better built damn it lol
WP_20160423_15_27_39_Pro.jpg

not quite shown well but the vxr shaft is an inch shorter so that may save my cv boots from now on
WP_20160423_15_31_05_Pro.jpg

took the vxr shaft apart for a grease refresh but the damn clip broke when trying to release the shaft
WP_20160423_16_40_19_Pro.jpg

some time later lol
WP_20160423_16_42_52_Pro.jpg

all done new grease and boot clips waiting for the local car parts to get the right cv for me
WP_20160423_17_51_03_Pro.jpg

the vxr shaft has larger shafts and completely different to the mk4 shaft so should be a bit beefier

Nice work, when fitting calibra shafts into corsa's and nova's the trick was to move the groove for the circlip in and use a grinder blade or lathe and cut a new groove and then chop the same off the end of the shaft to stop it bottoming out in the cv joint. Will work for yours if you want to keep the shift as a built up spare (y)

I had considered this using the cut off tool but my issue now is the damaged inner cv and no one local having one on the shelf

new z20lel cv came
