Well spotted Berto !!! To be honest reminds me a bit of the disagreement over which viscosity of engine oil is best in a z22se. Here in Australia holden recommend 15-40, in UK vaux recommend 5-30W i beleive.. Wonder what getrag recommends for the f23 as that is the manufacture of that box and do they supply gearbox already filled with oil??? I can tell u honestly i did 300K in the factory red stuff without problem. I did 200k with POA 75 without problem. Then reverted back to factory oil with teflon additive for 63k - again without problem. The latter was my preference for shift smoothness and speed.

Yeah great resource pity the web site is not in English.....hows ur German lol

you get the same bush with the MTec kit. they do wear over time.
if you are going to change gears in the box you will need a very heavy duty press as some gears are sweated on to the shafts. my 30 ton press wouldn't shift them.
if you did swap all the gear sets you will not notice the difference in how it pulls, just in first gear it's a bit slower on take off N/A. with the charger it means i can plant the throttle sooner without both wheels spinning out. also means it will do over 70mph in second :) (on the race track or private road obviously :whistle:;);))

Ok wonder how much of a difference the bushing itself makes to shift smoothness as im more interested in improving that than shortening the throw. No way in hell would i attempt to do the work - id give to a specialist to do lol - ill pass on the info tho.

Lucky u i couldnt even dream of attempting 70 in second here in Oz - police on every corner ive lost my licence twice lol

the bush will take out some of the free play in the linkage, coupled with the gear stick overhaul kit it will make a difference.
Hardly see police on the roads in the uk. if you do they are hidden behind a bush in a gateway somewhere.lots of disagreements on which oil to use for what. i go from experience and what manufacture of the vehicle say.
I did find a very good training video on rebuilding the F23 made by GM and Getrag, had links to all the specs as well.
