150 for a turbo is to much money.you can buy a rebuild kit for around 100 pounds and im prepared to offer half of that towards costs and the headlights etc are not part of the problem u brought to my attention

I will give you 50pound towards a turbo rebuild kit but that's all as I would have been in the same boat when I come to sell the headlights myself and you will still earn money on whats left including the weigh in of the shell.........

so im a reasonable guy and hopefully i havnt just cost myself money but this is what i put....

No thats not good enough, you sold me the car as the parts I needed and said you should make some good money out of the rest of the parts, which I cant do because most of them are damaged which you didnt say about.
I tell you what I will meet you in the middle at £75 quid to save arguing. Let me know cheers.

just trying to find a turbo now, with 5M1THY saying that mitsubish use the same turbo it has opened up the search alittle more, i just need to confirm the right turbos and go from there,
if he agrees to £75 then i can take the rest on the chin and remember folks,
it doesnt matter if your buying a £10000 car or a doner car for parts, dont buy it blind and get it delivered, wait and take your time, 1 will turn up locally and you can check it over.

so is this the same turbo??

Isn't td04 a garrett turbo? in which case no matter what car it's on it will be the same thing.
I rang my dad earlier he said they don't go wrong that often on mitsi he can get a new one with a discount but he did say he will ask around and keep an eye out for one presuming it is the same turbo as the vauxhall. but he said he's 100% sure some engines use the 2.2 block but I don't think it's a z22se so must be one of the other codes but it is the same block

he has said that he will except the refund of £75 so its getting closer to a resolution but he said he will pay it on monday when hes back at work.

iv been offered a turbo for £80 in sheffield so i can fetch it and feel it and see it before any money is handed over so looks like it will be back on track next week.

I have noticed that there are different TD04's, I would think you need to get the same as yours unless the differences is the manifold joining, which you can swap over...

There are TD04 oil cooled and water cooled versions.

You can also get a TD04/TD05 to T3,T35,T38 & GT35 Adaptor :)
