So can I use this one for a Astra G x12xe? And do I connect them like this?

EGR Cheater wiring colours

white (green) goes to pin A (wire colour changed to white on latest versions)

yellow goes to pin B

[pin C is not used any more]

blue goes to pin D

red goes to pin E

Oh and with a negative EGR, should i leave it in or should i get a plate instead?

Thanks in advance :)

The non-z22se egr cheater is not available from the z22se shop, it's never been tested and so we don't supply them.

If someone could make one and try it then perhaps we could sell them sometime in the future

If you want an EGR cheater, they are available to buy through the Shop

on a quick look round my egr valve i cant see any air pipes connected to it ive read in earlier posts that a cam breather pipe
needs blanking with 2ps or an oil catch tank fitted which is my ideal but where is this pipe located ?plus if i do this will it be ok
1)fit cheater
2)remove egr valve completely
3)blank off hole
4)plus if i find it fit breather pipe to oil catch tank
im sorry if this sounds thick i just cant seem to piece the info off all these threads together (y)

you don't need to blank that pipe, just fit a vauxhall blanking plate and fit a cheater.

to remove that pipe you would need to fit the egr blanking plug, there is a thread with the part number, it's a non vauxhall part

so the pipe that goes into where hes put that plastic blank under the throttle body would instead go into the oil catch tank i wanna fit also if i do fit the catch tank would i also have to put the balnk as shown in that thread im sorry im confused a bit :(

the oil catch tank goes to the cam cover - if you wish to fit one that is

the blank goes to the 2.2 inlet manifold and is for the egr pipe removal, nothing to do with the oil catch tank system

Hi Vocky, Been looking through these pages and I'm interested in making the relay type up and giving you guy's some feedback... There is a few vauxhall's I can try this on, My Frontera "B" (X22SE) is the First, and there is a couple of mates (Corsa's B and C) I've spoke to too that are willing

My Question is how could I test to see if it is negitave pole type? and what if any damage would be caused if wrong type fitted? notsure.gif

Many Thanks
