Just typed a long post about me fitting the Manifold and TB today and bloody lost it
So the short of it is, I can confirm it fits the astra but its a fair bit harder than you think and there more things to modify, includidng the air con compresor that gets in the way. If your not a competent engineer your might struggle fitting it to be honest, and you really need a good set of torque sockets from E5 to E14. The good news is that I have photos from start to finish and 3 pages of notes I made as I went allong so I can post a good How-to for the Astra most of which will apply to the vectra. Ill post it up monday when I get chance, until then I'd hang off fitting yours as I learnt a bit from doing mine that will make your life easyer.
Anyway, Started up with 2.4 manifold and TB. Reved it up and the ecu went limp

. Disconected battery to reset, fitted original TB and the ECU went limp again when rev'd up. Scratched head, swore a bit, phoned a freind, relised I had fitted the 2.4 map sensor and changed it for the original. Sorted! took it for a spanking and everything seems sweet. No warning lights, no nothing, just a shed load more power up in the higher rev range. Will try the bigger TB back on tomorrow and report. Of to pub now!
