AAAAAAAHHHHHH. its finally happened, I knew it was going to well.

Problem 1: so the studs on the exhaust manifold are £5odd each and the nuts are £1.50 each. So gonna find a way to get the nuts off the studs.

Problem 2: thermostat housing gets in the way of the cat so that needs further modification.

Problem 3: the gear linkages are touching said cat but may be a different case once the cat is fitted better, but they will still be close so I may need to make a heat shield for them. 20150330_160720.jpg

Not sure if you can see but the turbo should be about 20mm further down on the pic to mount up

sorry to say but thats great news looks like mine will be done before you lol :)

j/k we have already spoken about the thermostat
the cat could be moved to an inline one lower down ?
cables would need covering they do a velcro heat wrap kind of thing that would be good

So havnt come up with a 100% fix as of yet, I think evocarlos is avoiding me so he can get a day ahead of me haha.

so I have a few options. Cut the pipe down n put a 90 degree silicone hose in and go over the top

or get a A20NFT thermostat housing and go over the top. Both is gonna take atleast a few days. So its a slow down for a few days(weathers bad anyway so not to worry)

Got turbo and cat in position without thermostat housing in position)20150401_153234.jpg

fits nice Ish

cats touching my gear selectors(not sure what to do about that as of yet)

20150401_155737.jpg

put the fitting in THE hole thanks evocarlos where ever you are.

and found that my 45degree fitting is no use as its 2 steap an angle so gotta get a straight connector.

and by the looks of it the a20nft thermostat housing will be perfect for the job. Just need to find carl.

Got my new thermostat housing today

thanks alot evocarlos thanks for the gasket but I bought a new 1 of those with the manifold gaskets.

just need to figger out what size this hole is.

the pitch is 1.5 and it measures 12.5.

m12 is way to small and I cant find a m13(dont think they do a m13) so I think its a m14?

Dave Gilbert According to TIS the brown wire is the Crankshaft Sensor Low Reference and the brown/black wire is the Crankshaft Sensor Signal.

Hope this may help. :)
