it was from mure on ebay only a few quid for a roll i did but forgot about it
had a few messages since you sent it lol its a bit of a treck and this broken one is already costing me £50 trying to sort it out with the seller he has an XX box but don't know if its the same
yeah not a fun part thats for sure only have to check the loom inside the car there rest has been done
can get a dash loom for next to nothing in the morning
he said he was going to give me a full refund and to keep the box as its fubard
i know where theres a full sri-t loom and steering column so might be going with that not sure yet
diy gauge pod
cut the halfords pod up and plastic welded it to the trim
fiberglass filler for support
shapped
body filler for a smooth blend
and fitted
next step matt black paint

dug out the rear spats and prepped them for paint
just waiting for them to dry then will flat them and color code them
while i was messing i took all the crap off the back seat lifted it and wiggled the loom to the outside turned the ignition on and the lamps for the abs and tc went out then come back one after 5 seconds so looks like my fault is there
between the x1 and x12 plug

yeah thats an idea but then what was the point of buying the new hub lol the thing i want to know is why the old one now works and the new one don't (seams it never has)
going to remove the loom from the passenger side and plug it into the new one then try the other one in the passenger side hub if it works that was i will put the new one on the other side

Nice work on the spats and gauge holder.
We have had this a few times on the Civvy cars at work, the cheaper pattern parts sometimes have crap connectors on them and although feel connected they don't work properly.

i spent hours sanding the pod fiberglass down lol it payed off tho ive just sent them an email about the hub
