Z22SE Sluggish pull away and rough idle when hot

As per title really..
Wee bit sluggish getting away and, mainly when it's hot, the car idles a little rough, not a lot, just a little.

I'm guessing it's not engine (but I don't think it's a tuning issue, hence I posted here and not in exhausts/precat) because there's a blow in the exhaust somewhere - we had a look, after finally getting the heat shield off, and think it's at the 3-bolt flange.

That is a likely cause of these issues, yes?

It's recently had chains done, cam cover breather goes to a filter, not the inlet pipe (which is properly blocked off), has new filters, plugs and coolant temp sensor.

My guess is egr valve mine was like that until I blanked it off

There is no egr.. s'gone.. removed.. it is an ex-egr.. it's f***ing snuffed it.

a leak in that part of the exhaust would mess with the lambda readings and alter fueling that could be the issue
you would have to get op-com in and see whats going on with the readings to be sure

I have opcom.. only used it to check/reset codes thus far though. Can't get my head around all the numbers and delving deeper (aspergers y'see)..

Will be near my Vx dealer tomorrow, going to order (or buy if they're in stock) the studs, nuts and gasket for the 3-bolt flange..

And all the others for the heatshield and manifold too, if I can double check all the part numbers on epc - which isn't currently working as GM intended on my laptop at the min.
