I think you have to unclip it from in the engine bay but access is limited. have to remove abs pump i believe.

just had a txt its a 10mm thin socket from the engine bay then clips to the body and pull from inside

its not to bad its all screws and bolts it all goes back together as long as you dont loose any
the wirings a bit of an arse

i find it funny that the standard loom has 5-1 wires that are crimped and wrapped in duct tape

looking at the 2 looms a/c vs c/c
the a/c loom has 6 wires
the c/c loom has 2 32pin plugs and a 4 pin plug

found some pics on another forum that shows the plugs

and then the 32pin plug for the c/c controller the 2nd 32pin plug that's blue is for all the sensors and motors on the air box

not many of the wires in the plug are used tho

it gets better now the looms all disconnected i cant shut the window and theres a big hole in the dash and its now snowing

air box and support beam are back in just need to get the drain screws back in then sort the wiring out

this im hoping for nice and cool in the summer and nice and warm in the winter
but as you say about the orange LED's ive got a 2nd controller coming so i can take it all apart and white LED it

back to the job inhand
while the airbox's were out i took the new panel filter from mine and fitted it to the C/C air box
glad i did it was well dirty

had an issue with the a/c pipes not locking down at a closer look the thred was bad so ive made use of the good thread that was deeper in the hole and fitted a stud

problem solved

heres the air box ,pedals ,beam back in im just in the house now to start the wiring

while i was thinking about it i glued my auto wiper sensor to the screen maybe they will work now its fitted

im going to use wires from the cabby loom to make the auto levels part of my loom so matching colors and removing pins

hope i can find all the right colors

nout yet im still soldering and trying to pick up the wires 5 left
old bit vs new

good job i have a 1300w soldering iron

motor power and 2 control wires done

going back together slowly

car has no brown/volet thru bulk head connector need to fit one
also found the brown/white wire can go to pin 20 of the speedo plug
5 wires left its pitch black out side and cold but im still going for it
