Vocky you did an install guide for fitting a 68mm TB from the 2.0 sc is the procedure the same for fitting the 2.4 TB ? Also i'm having the 2.4 manifold fitted with the standard TB and then swapping to the 2.4 TB . Will this adversely effect the manifold or should it be a straight swap from one to the other ? dunno..

well what I can tell you is that on my car the 68mm throttlebody wasn't a good setup. The ECU kept throwing P1514 at me when putting a higher than mild load on the engine.
Just this evening reverted back to the 58mm TB and all seems happy again. So I don't know exactly what the issue is, but it looks like the ECU isn't happy comparing the throttle opening to the MAP value.
It could be that it is possible to change this when mapping the ECU, however I (still) have no idea which variables are changable when mapping the ECU.
I'm driving the car to work the rest of the week to get the ECU up to speed with the new manifold (judging from the OBD readings it is still adjusting). If everything is ok I'll post up the results somewhere in the weekend (including the partnumbers I used).

Yes Mark please post how you get on. I will be having the manifold with 58tb and thorney's exhaust manifold fitted next week. I have ordered a 68 tb and set of injectors in preparation for when a get my cams ( which will be probably in the new year). When the 68 tb arrives i might swap it over and then go see about getting a remap. dunno..

Not too bad really, especially when you cant get the manifold except in the US.
I reckon thats where they are making their money, on the shippng, have a look at the actual cost when it arrives. If it is that high, they are just passing the outrageous costs on and not enquiring to other delivery companies. Should be around $50 to $70 and 3 to 4 days delivery, going off heavier and larger items i have had.
