Just had a reply, think we can rule this out.

Shipping the kit to the UK is $225.00 US dollars.

The kit SHOULD work on your engine, unfortunately we cannot guarantee it will work with the European setup.

Best Regards MikeM

maybe Courtenay's could import them and flog them, they import the gm sc kit, might be worth asking the question dunno..

I'm a little bit afraid with your injectors modification ...

what about injector scaling ? (even if there could be a 20% afr adaptation it can't be on the scaling which means that the ECU is always having big corrections on the duty of the injectors) ... and more than this... what about the injector latency ? (could be the same but here again I'm pretty sure you'll get big big corrections).

Hope you'll soon tune this ECU and get the real scaling and latency informations to give to the tuner so he could do a great job cause running like this or tuning the ecu without the knowledge of what is going on around is in my oppinion a waste of time and money dunno..

sc injector update:

well I've removed them cryb..

reasons:

number 1 - cold start up, engine revs between 2k and 2.5k rpm for 10 seconds until the ecu stabilises :(

number 2 - engine dies over 5k

BUT......I just had to try them

My future plans are;

use them with an Emerald ecu :)

or
flog them and fit throttle bodies drool.gif

well if they had worked perfectly it would of been a miracle

TBH my vx220 performance is almost what I want it to be.....goes well....sounds amazing, like a performance bike on full throttle 8)

I might just get a TMS remap (with higher rev limit) and call it a day for a while dunno..

Couldn't have been good ;)

But in the same time you don't need a real entire tune to use them 8)
You just got the ask or look what is the cc size and what are the latency values and set them in the ecu ... takes 1 second for somebody who can tune it so they could ask a verry smal amount for the job :)

I wish we had something to tune those ecu with no cost LOL

Well ... no cost or low cost like 150€ or 100£ ... it would still be a best seller if the liscence works only with 1 ECU so they could sell one per each car (so they could sell a lot instead of 1 per area of VX owners lol) as soon as we can share our maps and so on.
