get the new guy to drive to yours, then remove all the charger etc from his and swap it onto your standard car and swap all your standard stuff onto his. Everyone wins.

taking off the supercharger is the worst thing you will do i have both a supercharged and a standard astra i know which one i want to drive all the time

the idea I have is to remove the supercharger kit return the astra back to standard and then sell the astra on I would sort some of the issue out first I am just not happy with the bodywork on the astra.
I have been looking around at astra 2.2 sri and there's some nice one's around for not a lot of money found 1 I am going to view over the b/holiday I family owned since 6k (2 owners) done 111300 now with nearly full service history garage maintained looks really tidy inside and out hopeing this could be a better astra I could then refit the supercharger I would upgrade the fitment for sure with help and advice's of you guys.

I see your point.

I would say the best thing to do would be to get the new car and swap from car to car.

ypu will need to swap keys, ecus etc etc.

So having both cars at the same time will save you alot of time and money

looked at 2 astra 2.2 sri today the first 1 was ok with low owners and history but body was a bit tatty, the second astra 2.2 sri was a lot better 3 owners 116000 mile part history runs sweet as its in white completely standard not mint but very tidy will sort some pic's out tom after it has had a through clean only paid £500 well worth traveling 300 miles round trip in b/holiday traffic.

the black astra sri has the supercharger in it I am going to remove and refit in to the white astra sri.
i am going to run about in the white astra sri sold my daily runabout today Renault Megane it was a absolute nail it just had to go !
not sure what to do with the black astra sri once i remove the supercharger off it put back to standard and sell it what do you guys think its worth ?
or i could just break it again what do you guys think its worth in parts ?
either way just no time at the mo

That does look well from the photos pretty rare in white also

The black one in standard form in the state of the pictures £350 - £600. You may get a few hundred more in parts.

Id say easier to sell the black as standard.

Probably more money in parts but time and energy might not be worth so much.

but I think you have made a wise choice on the white 1.
