Had a message about an insignia like my other one that was up forsale
After getting it home the wash down
Heated and cooled leathers SRI leathers
Oil filter was passed it
Headder tank was split so the free replacement was fitted
Auto box oil change
Exhaust manifold was blowing so the turbo came off to solve that
Was just 4 nut loose on the manifold
New air filter
Flexy on the exhaust had come apart
After welding and using cv boot clips to secure the braiding
On the 2hour drive home there was an awful nocking noise that I thought was the drive shaft
It was infact just the wheel bearing that I had a good spare from the other car
Couple of bulbs
The new disc pads and calipers from the other car swapped over
Mirror switch had dropped through the door card
New belt and wheel arch trims the others were damaged/missing from when the power steering pipe blew
New spare key
Boot carpet cleaned
Kept getting "battery low" warning at key on
Then found a wire of the battery
Fixing the cable solved the problem
Crank seal and washing all the gunk off from the powersteering leak off
Better now
Arch liner to cover it up
New boot switch as it had failed
Engine had codes but there was no eml lamp
The old bluetack in the hole....
Codes were for cam phasers
After pulling them out you can see they were a bit blocked up replacments were fitted and one of the 2 codes cleared
The other code related to the timing being out
Water pump had been done
New gm chain fitted
Gauze on the vac pump cleaned out also
All codes then cleared
