Z22YH hesitation under 1000 RPM

Hi i have a issue with my Australian AH Astra SRI 2007 Petrol Z22YH the vehicle will idle and a soon and you accelerate it hesitates like its flooded to the point it won't run if i can get it to rev over 1000 RPM runs fine , if driven has no power in first of second gear as soon as it builds revs not a problem

i have replaced
Fuel pump
fuel pressure regulator
plugs (but are now covered in soot looking like its running rich
MAF
checked for converter being blocked
i don't get any error codes and don't know what to check from here on any advice would be great

Hi it could be coil pack on way out fine on tick over until its underload could be that could be egr blocked what diagnostics you using cos if its not running right then it should be coming up with something just a few guesses I'm not a mechanic but seems bit odd

thanks for the reply mine does not have a egr valve i have a full diagnostic software but its got me stumped i am thinking something more mechanical just sounds like its bogging down and flooding i may change the oxygen sensor but i thought that would throw a error if its bad

I had an issue with the coolant temperature sensor was faulty and was suffering the same problem. The coolant temperature sensor doesn't cause any fault codes to show and was a cheap fix. I replaced it and car was back to normal.

Hard to say but I would start with CTS and then give coil packs a go, or try and borrow a working set of coil packs if a member is close by.

We didnt get the z22yh in the astra H over here i dont think.

Whats the engine bay like? Any pics?

Are you positive you don't have an EGR. 2004 z22yh's have an egr here but its different to the z22se ones and is water cooled.
