Fancy getting some parts from this place
http://www.carcustoms.net/index.php?cPath=265_22_32_597
eagle rods and some pistons,
which pistons do i need?
thinking of going 0.20 overbore - what cc would that increase the engine by ?
also is the head stud kit a bit overkill ?

good $ to £ atm, got a friend with a good contact in americaland too.

(any other america places i can get stuff cheap from - from recommendations )

the 10:1 pistons are for n/a, the 8.9:1 are for sc or turbo

0.20 overbore would add about 30cc

headstud kit + crank pulley drool.gif

my eagle rods should be arriving very soon :D

car customs is a good supplier, DO NOT use mantapart

yeah im guessing ill have a bit of bore wear, so probably safer to go for the oversized option
RK pulley any good ? reading about its not totally worth it, altho coupled with balancer shaft removal and lightened flywheel , should be ok

I would also rebore the block at 100k :)

rk pulley and head studs are both on my wish list, but I probably won't bother with either notsure.gif

I will stick with: no balancer shafts, lightened flywheel, eagle rods and the head off my vectra :)

might possibly replace the pistons, not sure dunno..

well my pistons are going to be damaged, its also probably damaged the shells so may as well replace with new at these prices :)

im looking at davies craig pumps too.

my CC is going to take a beating :D

I must ask Dude how he fitted his davies craig pump, it's high on my want list

the standard pump weighs quite a bit, plus the flow should be a bit better notsure.gif

ive a few ideas, hopefully the pump will sit where the thermostat is (on a vx220) be no thermostat anymore as id use the waterpump controller,
might just ba a case of gutting the old water pump

if you don't want to rebore your engine I have a block you can have for £30
it's done about 50k I believe, the head cracked, so no damage to the block
pics in the bottom end rebuild thread

my crank will need a regrind anyway, so may as well take it all to the engine place and get them to rebuild the bottom end, ta for offer tho :D

Another thought, if i'm getting + 0.020 pistons will i need a different head gasket ?
no, the headgasket is the same

the z22se engine can only be bored out once, then it's new liners
