Went over to Newbury this afternoon into see the 'Mint' condidtion Zafira SRi. It was very nice but it wasn't mint as described to me when I called the dealer this morning. The rear N/S 18" Penta was curbed very badly, 2 tyres needed replacing due to tyre wall damage, roof lining was scagged, handbrake lever badly scratched, various paint chips around the body of the car that had bee touched up with paint stick and the turbo felt quite lazy coming in??
The dealer wanted £9k. I pointed out the issues and he told me that this was one of the best examples that I would find as all the rest are dogs! I told him I had cash and he said that it made no difference how I was paying. I asked if there was any room for negotiation and he said no. He told me that he sells these cars for this price every week.
That car has been advertised for 2 weeks on his website?
