3" Down pipe onto 2.5" Cat Back system

3" Down pipe onto my 2.5" Cat Back system. Would this be an ok setup with my current stage 1 map? I have heard things like it can make my car over fuel or run rich, then some people saying the lambda sensor would adjust to the change with out making it run rich on fuel. notsure.gif . The down pipe is part of the stage 3 setup with larger injectors but I am just thinking about keeping at stage 1 for now but buying this down pipe with sports cat fitted for now. BSR sell this sports cat with down pipe as a 3" pipe, they have this listed on the stage 3 with cat back system being 2.5". Will I have an issue? What do you think? Cheers

The pre-cat I've just had fitted is 2.75" (70mm) and that is connected to a 2.5" system.

The only part I am worried about is if I get bore wash from over fueling, or will the sensor adjust to make it work notsure.gif . Some lads are running the set up I want and have no problems, some say it will make it over fuel. So I don't know whats best . On my car I don't have any pre cats as factory fitted, the only cat I have is on the downpipe.

Yes it's here Matt http://en.bsr.se/products/list/bsr-downpipe/ . It comes as part of the stage 3 for my car.

Should be fine Mark, looking at their other state 3 set ups, they are all 3" down pipe into 2.5" exhaust system.

I am not going to go stage 3 just yet, just thinking about putting this 3" down pipe on first for a while
