Hello,

I bought used KW coilovers variant 2 on my astra g coupe, and now im wondering if i need shorter drop links, or i can use my stock drop links?

My car is going to be lowered very much.

Sorry for my bad english and thank you for answers

I have metal adjustable drop links on mine and the kit I got came in 3 different lengths for about £45 so you can try 3 sizes till you have the right size but mines pretty low and I'm still using the standard length so I kind of Wasted my money in a way as I could of used standard ones for about £8 each.

I've been told that standard ones are fine up to 60mm lower than that you need shorter ones but maybe someone else can confirm that?

You all use KW coilovers?:) Because on FK coils(which i had last season) there was shorter drop links in the package :)

dont think i will ever go to coilovers
genuine gm shocks :) 9 years and counting there still good only recently fitted new arb links standard size but then any lower than 30mm round here is pointless plus i have to go over 8 speed bumps to get to work each day and i like the smoother ride now im getting older hehe:)

Oh yeah without a doubt the standard shocks are good I won't be replacing coilovers after being in yours :) powerflex bushes standard shocks and lowered springs is a really good setup

Wheel dimensions? Im using Irmscher R18 8J ET35 with 215/35R18 tyres and back was rubbing everything with coilovers, until i folded arch groove(idk how to say it in english).
