sc cam question

im planning on building a supercharged z20net with a 2.2 crank, steel rods, forged pistons, bigger injectors etc. im after some advice on what cams to go for and where to buy them from. looking to go beyond 400hp if possible. any advise would be great

I unfortunately can't answer the question, but what you have got planned has really caught me interest!

to even get 300bhp you will need CompCams blower camshafts http://www.compperformancegroupstor...roduct_Code=113250&Category_Code=CHEV464CAM20

to get past 400bhp you will need Darton sleeves fitting to the block - that will set you back about £1200

thanks, where would i get these sleeves from in uk? what happens to the standard sleeves if pushed?

what happens to the standard sleeves if pushed?

the liners are supposed to fail above 400bhp, but some have pushed past that figure

Also you will need a Harrop 1.3 litre SC as the GM 1.0 sc maxes out at about 320 bhp

im going for a m112 supercharger which i believe is a 1.8 litre

you would be best to use liners, that sc should be good for 450bhp
