front clam booked into the bodyshop tomorrow :D

cannot wait to bolt it back on, my vx has been clamless for too long :LOL:

gave up waiting for vx to get the front suspension nuts from Germany (cost £6.30 for 8 nuts) and bought a box from an industrial supplier (cost £5.80 for 100 nuts) another vx rip off :evil:

anyway, have now been able to move forward :D

finished refitting the front suspension, fitted new hubs + discs, fitted the mintex 1144 pads and finally put the wheels back on and lowered it to the ground :D

got my new 'P' clips today notsure.gif

they hold the brake hoses to the wishbones :roll:

[see pic above]

I had 10mm clips but needed 8mm (because of the new smaller braided hoses), so have now swapped the 10mm to 8mm :LOL:

front clam still at the bodyshop, should get it back next week :D

rear clam is ready to go to the bodyshop to have the bumper painted, just waiting for the front clam to be finished first

looking at the rear suspension is quite depressing, loads of work to get it shiney :cry:

today I fitted the new grille, 'V' , fogs and new turbo splitters to the front clam :D

it's now ready for fitting 8)

it does look far better than I ever dreamed it would, really glad I fitted the turbo splitters, finishes off the front end 8)
