Looks a lot cheaper than other DAP's I've looked into buying.

Not been on DW for some time but just had a look and they do look good. A very good price as well.

I'm still toying with the idea of getting one of these myself. I know the results are great, but is it worth the money for the occasional use....or should I just keep borrowing Si's :shh:

It is nice to have one but like you say for the ocasional use you might as well just borrow as and when.

That's what I keep thinking. I'd got as far tonight as putting my card details in, before changing my mind. I might wait and ask for one from Amy for our wedding anniversary or my birthday.

can't you fit a soft mop to it and use it to polish the car ?

I have a Hitachi mop and a wool attachment, never used it, but intend to give it a go this year

The foam heads fit to velcro backing plate and are used with different grade polishes to achive different results. You can also fit Microfibre bonnets / wool over the hard foam heads to help with buffing.

I have not had good results with the buffing bonnets though.

The issue with using a non DA buffer is that you run the risk of inducing hologramming into the paint as the head spins in one direction. Thats a quick summary anyway.
