So even although the Astra G came out in this country (South Africa), GM here appear to have no available parts for my 2003 Astra Coupe 2.2
It has become so bad that they dont even have the spark plugs for my car, they have to order it in!! How ridiculous!
Anyways, my question is this: I need 4 wheel bearings for my car as a fairly urgent need. Opel here want £400 per bearing and even then they have to order it in. I was wanting to order them in the UK and have them shipped over. But how would I go about finding a shipping company who could receive the bearings and then send them over here? Does anyone know of a company I could contact who I could then have parts sent to and they ship here??
Also, I keep supplying the Opel Agents with the UK part numbers for my car. They keep changing them and saying I am supplying the wrong part numbers. I will then take the part off my car and see that the part number stamped on said part is the UK part number, but it will say GM. Here all Opel parts say GM and the parts come from Germany, yet my part numbers dont match!!?
Anyone had similar issue? I can't even get a fuel filter without it being the wrong part! I keep asking myself why i shipped the car over here and why i moved back here! I cant even service my car with the agents, never mind doing any major maintenance!
