Has anyone used the dutch software on an Astra?

Select vehicle and go into the first ecu:

First ecu you need to select is: IPC (The dash ecu)
Once the ecu has been read ok check for any fault codes and clear them.
Now select 'PROGRAMMING'
Next select 'Engine Variant configuration' and change cruise control to 'PRESENT'
Now select 'PROGRAMMING' and wait till it says successful.
Once its successful exit out of that ecu.

Next ecu to select and change is: CIM (Column integrated module)
Read the ecu and check for any fault codes and clear them.
New select 'PROGRAMMING'
Next select 'Engine Variant configuration' and change cruise control to 'PRESENT'
Now press next till you can see 'Country Code' and change to 'GREAT BRITAIN'
Now select 'PROGRAMMING' and wait till it says successful.
Once its successful exit out of that ecu.

Also needed to go into the engine ECU and do variant coding and say CC is present.

Close Op-Com and remove interface.
Ill try this.

Well I got an email from Peter about him flashing my ECU with his software works out at £715.
Gonna bite the bullet and go for it I think. Makes sense if I can self tune it after any future mods :D
It could cost close to that for the base flash and a few hours on the rolling road at CS.
And it save me a very long drive with a low rev limiter :)

My Astra G is supercharged like z22se-fan with the ODBTuner software in original ECU :sneaky:. Living in France it was the best solution for me.
M62 + 3.1" pulley + Green LSj inj + Phenolic gasket + Dual Pass mod + ODBT firmware= working great (y)!
Also, if you have futur projects like me (2.5" exhaust system) you don't have to do again a remap, you do it yourself
Peter from ODBT told me that i'll lose cruise control, but i tried it and still works :woot:
No mods needed for the principal cooling system cause you have to make another one independent.
Dude you're serious about the Cruise Control?? That's nice! Although it means something isn't working on my car at the moment... Did you told Peter it still works?

Might just need to be coded into the ecu after peter applies the OBDTuner stuff.

Yes Ansar !

Try it one time on road after ODBT firmware was done. Just connect before my OP-Com to erase some fault codes (maybe this operation reactivate the CC ?).
Will do another test of C/C if you want this next days, to be sure.
I Told to Peter that works, he would try on spare ecu to check.

I don't think the ECU needs to have cruise control programmed to work. I have an ECU in my car at the moment which came from an Astra without cruise control and OPCOM says cruise control is not programmed, but it works! Looks like it should work with Peters ECU without any changes.
I will find out and update when I get my new ECU.

the factory vx220 map is bascally a non-air con astra map, but with a stupid 6300rpm rev limiter, a stage 1 vx220 map is just a standard astra map !

Well I got my ECU back from Peter and it's works great. The car runs so much better already and it not even supercharged yet!
Cruise control works perfectly, traction control and abs works and the cooling fans work.
Just a few more bits to get and I'll be supercharged!
I've not had a proper go at turning the engine with the PC software yet but I've had a little play and found it allows you to tell it what setup you have with injectors, throttle body, and MAP/ TMAP sensors. You can dissable the egr and catalyst checks, change the rev limiter and speed limiter.
Once you get a base calibration for the setup you have you can tell the ECU to self learn the fuel maps and ignition tables.
There's lots of other things you can do too but I've not had time to check it all out yet.
I'd definitely recommended it to anyone thinking of doing the supercharger conversion in more than one stage as the cost is probably less than what you'd pay to have it remapped each time. I love it, just the fact it idles better makes me smile.
Can't wait to put it to full use!

Well, I just got back from a fuel and ignition learning session in the new supercharged Astra. (Just an excuse to go for a drive really)
Still some small jobs to finish off but its definitely driving very well indeed :D:D:D

I ended up making an idle pulley from a piece of thick flat bar and a spare tensioner to add more drive to the alternator as it was smoking a little after the first start up.
It doesn't look very pretty, but its works great.

I still need to fix the battery properly, at the moment the K&N is holing it in place :wideyed:
And the ECU need a home once I have the battery fixed in its final position.
Oh, and some black hose for the EVAP so I can use my BBQ :ROFLMAO:
