Not to scare u at all daze but at vx when we program ecu and update the software on the new astra j and insignia we have to put a flat rate charger on as if they die likes yours did also A normal charger won't work a jump pack work also.
But anyway one died a brand new astra j and needed a new ecru hope yours don't go that way since a new one is about £600 and can't reprogram a 2nd ecru as u need to change keys and imboliser
