I was thinking about a nova z22se. But not sure if it will fit down the side of my house. I need some measurements of the width to see.

in know someone with a pretty standard nova I may be able to buy at some point I've got 1st shout when it's for sale if it's not riddled with rust by then. I'd probably prefer a mk2 astra purely as it will fit without bonnet bulges etc

I did think on doing a z22se mk2 aster Belmont but they are worse than nova's to find a clean one.
cousin had a brand new Belmont back in 1986, 1.6 in flame red with all the toys/kit, sr I think it was? had bbs alloys.
ended up building the red corsa c pill of poop!

well I decided that as im not really into track cars as much as I am into sound cars this project is to become a sound car, maybe a wall not sure yet but looking to go past 150bd
most parts are here now so theres a few jobs to do on the other car and work can start. still getting a z22se :D

why not do a rwd corsa 2.2 ?

to much paper work, vosa checks ect. realy ball ache. change of construction in use and all that once you start cutting the chassis about. 4wd corsa's have been made and a V8 corsa a 5.9L
no room for a charger in a corsa though ;)
this one will have to be twin charged, need the power :D

You must change your vehicle tax if you make any changes to your vehicle that will affect the:
  • tax class (unless you are changing to a tax class exempt from vehicle tax)
  • engine size (cc)
  • fuel type
  • weight (goods vehicles only)
  • number of seats on a bus
  • use of the vehicle
so thats just engine size and number of seats to notify and then a valid check to say the weldings good ?

that's just for tax carl, gets a lot more involved if you cut chassis up and change it. (as you need to for rwd/4wd) bolt on part swaps will be covered in mot test and by filling in v5 then sending it to dvla or what ever they call them selves now.
I will stick to fwd for this one ;)
