I must admit I'd be quite interested in seeing a 2.0 supercharged b207r having a forged crank and higher rpm should make an awesome 0-100mph car

There's a few vx220 running b207 2.0 SC with external trigger wheel.

But believe me a 2.2 b207/z22se SC revs very freely , here is my mine with 7500 rpm limit M62 a little over 300hp with 3.1 pulley

you will all have to wait and see what Betty ends up with. some will like it and others hate it but its my car so :p
as I said earlier I need to find out what pistons and rods I can get at what cost then see which crank I use?
finishing Ruby's engine is the next big job. got all the parts just need to clear some space to work on it. shed's full of corsa parts I need to get shot of. :(

wow that's steep! not spent that much on mine and its got more spec already! parts are so cheep for these engines from the states. all easy work needed to finish Ruby's engine just got to put it all together then fit it. so only a day or 2.
already been told that mine was the fastest reving standard 2.2 sc that Courtenay have dyno'd so with new lighter, forged bottom end, flywheel and clutch should be even better. not bad when I was only going for 250bhp and got 283bhp before they let off as it was still climbing!o_O
Betty will be n/a. only pistons and rods to source to build the engine, few new mounts, drive shafts and hubs and I will be ready for engine swap. may be in time for pvs or vboa 2015?

mums car had the usual water leak around bcu/relay box. so removed, dried and tiger sealed base then used rtv sealant on its cover incase I need to remove it for repairs in the future.
found a golden nugget under Betty's seat:), and a puddle under her carpet:(

yes to both dave and to stop water getting in to the car. will do mine over the week end as I need to take dash out anyway for other mods. doesn't take that long to strip dash out, interior will be almost a bare shell soon :)

well had a free day so set to with Betty again, got interior striped and servo plate removed, cleaned and re sealed, also sealed relay box, heater, and flushed heater matrix. dried carpet and fitted, left foam and under lay out along with roof lining and a lot of the other trim.

just need to modify the corsa b cobra seat sub frames to fit, put belts in and she's done till it comes to fitting the new engine next year :)

fitted the cobra seat and sabelt 4 point harnesses, quite a simple job if only I had remembered rear cross beam is handed!
did a few other minor jobs, swapped o/s head lamp as I found a spare in the shed that was in better condition, glad I did as old one was broke when I came to removing it, fitted dual tone horns from corsa b and its flat blades as they where nearly new, bleed brakes and clutch again, clutch took ages to bleed:mad:
just need a test drive to see who she goes now.

next question is do I fit the hagus door mirrors or not? got a set here in black.
