When I did my Zafira, I got some the wrong way round as apparently LED's are polarity dependant. So if it's the wrong way round it won't work.

Well that's a useful point to note if mine ever plays up like that. Glad you seem to have found the issue.

Remember that the oil will be circulating round the gears etc. (I assume that this is the case as with a manual box) when the engine is running and the box is in "P" (park). So the readings will be different to when the engines off and the box internals aren't moving.
