Well I took some inspiration from Carl and armed with Hamerite / dintrol / and VHT paint I spent while in my dads pit treating the underside of my car including exhaust / wishbones / rear axle and anything that looked remotely like it was open to the elements or was about to rust.
One bit of advice don't get Dintrol chip spray in your eye!
Least its a bit more protected now.
