here's the figures for a standard engine and with just the throttle bodies added

so 24 bhp gain from the throttle bodies alone on a standard engine

As I thought, torque delivery looks better (slightly) but the peak is lower.

you sure can, the lotus espirit turbo had exactly that setup, throttle bodies and turbo drool.gif

won't work too well with a sc conversion, but the sc does kick out 240bhp

DIY = £2100 inc vat

fitted = £2749 inc vat

power figures.........

standard + itb's = 165 bhp

stage 5 + itb's = 235 bhp

i have a quick question, these throttle bodies where on the rev range will they kick in would it be about 4.500 rpm?

looking at the graphs it will be above 4750 rpm and all the way to the rev limiter

so in theroy your only using about 2,000 rpm of power? as the red line starts at 6.500. hum makes me think twice as you will in theroy be thrashing your engine?.

Unfortunately high BHP comes at high revs. My peak power is reached at 6250rpm.
