I've been trying to fix my car (Vectra C, 2002 automatic, AF23) problems for a while now. Finally found a problem with the Shift Lever Module and a fuse (FI-6); bought a second hand SLM electronics part and cleared all the faults. But now when connecting it (without the key in ignition switch), the P and brake lights near the lever start flashing at a 1 second interval. When starting the engine the lights stop blinking and everything seems to be working fine (I can drive with the car, lever lights are on). But when switching off the engine, the lights start flashing again and the key is not released by the ignition switch. Only when disconnecting the SLM electronics again I can get my keys out.
What could be wrong here?
