what size is the discs on the rear for an astra is it the 264mm versions notsure.gif

yeah Baz, according to epc the astra has 264mm x 10mm discs fitted to the rear.

cheers mate thats the ones i bought today and rear pads for the lucas calpiers cos mines has 2 sort of lumps on them which i think is the lucas ones

pictures were taking on my phone i dont think the pads are right cos there not the same size on the disc seem to big a gap

well going by the above pic they look like the wrong ones.

its ok cos i can take them back tomorow when i take the old ones off and take one with me they arent the same size as the disc outer which made me think they werent the right size

quick ? guys are the rears the same to take of as the fronts ie to torx bolts

not sure mate, never changed rear pads.

If the hand brake cable is attatched to the caliper you will need a tool to push and turn the caliper piston back in other than that it is roughly the same as the front Baz

You`ll need a 13mm, 17mm and a piston windback tool, shudn`t take long either.
