yeah, waiting for benny to reply to pm.

on vvoc, someone says thats how theirs sounded, they had a stretched chain. so will defo go down this avenue.

dont think i should drive her un-nessary (sp)

when driving dont keep her in gear or put your foot in neutral when coastin, dont put any pressure on chain

put your foot o nthe clutch when starting her up

dont rev over 4k

and get it sorted asap

get it booked in at a local garage, 3 hrs solid driving isn't good if you suspect the chain has a problem

i have borrowed an ecu from someone, and since fitting it and driving a total of more than 150 miles....................no eml!!!! nothing! zip! zero!

thank god!!! soooooo happy!!!!!!!!

can now get on with rest of the car (eg paint work etc)

think i should have it for about a week. not sure mate
