new sub

Well my car spent a couple of hours at sextons on Tuesday as one of my subs had stopped working.

They had a look at it and it was knackered and only 18 months old. They asked me if i wanted a new one at a cost of £130 (normaly £199 so i was told by them) or just set it up to run one sub.

I decided to go for a new one and i'm glad i did. They fitted the new sub and then played with the settings on the amps and all i can say is WOW it sounds so much better. I must have had a dodgy sub from the start cos now every time i crank up the volume there is so much bass it moves my rear view mirror and i can't see out of it rofl..

Nice one Andy, as you said, them adjusting the settings properly can make a world of difference. I spent about 2 hours setting mine up when I first fitted it to get it sounding just right.
