Hello everybody,
I am griping onto my Signum 2.2 direct, frankly cause I like it a lot.
Currently I'm having EML and power loss because fuel pressure low on 2&3. can be almost immediate on start up, or take 20 minutes. seems more frequent now, so car is benched.
Thinking injectors were at fault I've swapped em round, and the problem stays on 2&3, so I figure it cant be the injectors. I used a DC power source to spray carb cleaner through them and each of them opened and closed, and sprayed on power so seem good.. (?)
has anyone ever had trouble with the wiring to the injectors? is that a good next place to look? I figure that having the injectors in and out too many times might have broken some wiring.
I have been through the fuel pump woes, and after 1 second hand replacement and 1 new replacement I ended up getting a Team F5r pump that does away with those horrible rubber membranes in favour of a metal piston, so I think its not the fuel pump. Recently had fuel leaks at the rail which was caused by deteriorated rubber rings on several of the injectors, for which I finally found a good replacement for and have stopped now.
I'm trying to logic the problem through, but keep getting stuck, so would very much appreciate any and all advice!!
