My Cruise control is bugging me can anyone help??

Right my EML started to come on last Oct after I had fitted cruise control to it!! The CC was working fine till then! Now if I try to use it it works for a while then the EML comes on and the CC switches off. I have had it on a machine to check for faults and its comes up with Cruise brake switch P0571 so I bought a new brake switch fitted it and it still comes on. thinking it was a faulty Stalk which I bought from ebay I decided to buy a brand new one from LMF which came today so fitted it and took it for a spin and guess what?? The bloody light came on again! I am really cheesed off now and dont know what to do!! Do you think it needs to go onto a Tech2 to have the ECU redone? If so I dont really wanna fork out £70+ for the stealers to redo it only for it to come back on again!!! Any you fine people got any suggestions or has anyone experienced the same problems?

Sounds stupid but have you checked the bulbs? Had a customer in a while back who fitted LED bulbs the resistance was lower tricking the light check into thinking a bulb was out cutting out the CC???? might be worth a look

ABS ring...same fault s mine had.....replaced ring...jobs agood un

I did fit some LED white reversing lights do you think this could do it?

Have a look at ure front abs rings.....u'll prob find one is cracked...
