Johnny is learning very well, he will soon be a tuning mod

so just to confirm, the problem with swapping a dual mass flywheel to a solid flywheel is the clutch slave cylinder sits too far away from the clutch cover.

to quote a very helpful guy at GM transmissions "you need 8.5mm of clutch cover deflection to operate the clutch mechanism"

my garage charged me £200 to fit the flywheel and did it in a day.i thought that was quite cheap(he did charge me more in the end cos of the
extra work)if i lived near courtenays though it would be a different story!

looking on the TTV site they do a FW for the Saab 9-3... Will this fit aslong as its the same flavour of block at the Z22?

Might depend on if they use the same gearbox on the saab also....

I think the saab crank uses one less bolt for the flywheel, so the spacings are wrong, but not sure notsure.gif
