key wont work

wel not the key but the buttons. ive thought if i changed the battery it would be ok but nope still doesnt work pushed both buttons the lights flash but doesnt lock the car

sounds a bit odd, maybe the key needs to be re-synced with the car, i did you take too long to change the battery?

You have to put the key in the ignition, turn it until the warning lights come on, then hold your finger on the door open button on the key and hold it there for 10 seconds. This resets the key.
