building a false floor

just wondering has anyone built a false floor for their boot?? If so is it easy to do and any tips??

i'm thinking about giving it a go but not sure where to start really lol. i got 3 amps and a power cap.

Haynes do a max power Ice manual, there are some great ideas and tips in there. Some great looking glass fibre stuff in there and not that hard to do. I put a basic false boot floor in my old pug. Just remember to measure at least 5 times and cut once! And use 18mm MDF not 12mm as the 12 will flex to much.

I would have thought the easyest way to do it would be to take the carpet out and cut round that and then split the floor into three so the middle can be lifted to get to the spere wheel.

not had any emails to say there was a reply here which is why i've not posted.

i'l have that off you Gaz if you can wait untill pay day which is 2 weeks friday (i think lol)
