Astra SRI from Mexico

Hello mates, my name is Roberto, and this is my 03 Astra G SRI (Please forgive my english)

Well for start my car is He in Mexico and not She, anyway im gonna caller she haha, it was sold as GSI in here, because the real GSI never was sold, even astra H only SRI-T were sold as GSI and are rebadged as Chevrolet, from 98 to 03 it was two engines available x-z 18xe and z22se, from 04 to 07 astras were facelift by GM Brazil and used overbored and overstroked x20xev taking them from 2.0 to 2.4, there were two versions too, 2.0 8v 115 hp and 2.4 16v 154 hp. So mine is the last europe version sold in here...

I have made her a few arrangements since i bought, first i took off that rear spoiler, as i love the roof line of this car, left headlight interior was wobble from the adjuster, one of the fog lighst was dead, the vacuum hose for the fpr was missing i spend too much gas before i fixed it , i did not wanted to debadge her but the name was falling in pieces, so i decided to take it off completely, besides those kinds of details im really happy with her, i have several plans comming up, i already blanked off my EGR valve and it pre decat it yesterday,( i will post pics soon) next plans are 2.4 inlet manifold and some springs and struts maybe coilovers if i can afford them, which one can you recommend me?

This last picture is from the inside of the precat, so its all empty, yesterday i cleaned my tb, it was really dirty and oily...

Hello everybody and thank you for make me feel at home, im glad to be part of this forum, its awesome! im a little slow upgrading pics but i would like to make of this thread a build thread, i have work on my G for a several hours to make it look and work better than when i got it. Thanks all of you guys!

I have to admit that i love motorsports, so i always want my car to be faster and drives better, i just get my bachelor as Automotive Mechanical Engineer, so my pockets now are not full of money, but there are some little tricks i have done, like i told you i blanked off my EGR and also took off the middle exhaust resonator, i wanted a little bit of sound, i just love the deep tone when its revving up from 1000-2500. So here its the pic of my inlet manifold, this was causing a rough idle, but its not totally solved, im afraid the spark plugs are not the correct ones, because they are only 1 electrode and i know (thanks to the forum that the best ones are de GM 3 electrode).

However, i didn't like the wheels there were 17x7.5 with 215/45 tires on them, i get some borbet A reps 17x8.5 and 17x10 with same tires to get a sexy stretch on rears... here are some pics

this was my little Corsa B before my sister crash it
I had KW V1 coilovers on it and i can tell you they are awesome! my future plans for G are to get it lower, so what you guys can recommend me? im thinking of getting a set of FK or JOM coilovers or maybe a sportline springs with gas shocks
