if I import a 2.4 it will be fitted into a vx220 rather than my vec

my plan has always been to sort the 2.2 vec's engine, then swap it with a vx220 standard engine, then sell the vec

but the vx220 inlet cam is different to the vec's and I'm unsure what is the best route to take

if I keep to a 2.2 then I will have to get the vx220 cams reprofiled, then I may as well port the vx220 head, then is it worth swapping the engines, might as well get the 2.4 vvt.................

still I've got till next year to figure it all out

just found some more info :)

the 2.4vvt engine is slightly different to the z22se, so the cranks and rods are not interchangable

so only a complete bottom end swap is available for the 2.4 route
