It really is very easy to use once you have a base map installed. You may be able to get one from somebody who has gone down this path. I have several base maps for 20VT's pm if you want one. Why are you using twin injector set up? This sounds complicated :shock: Check on the website...

Yes - that is what I thought. But lower the engine/gearbox? I don't have this facility and was planning to pull assembly out from the top of the engine bay. Paul

The engine was out of a Vx220 with only 3000 miles on the clock.............So I am assuming chain is okay, however......

Thanks guys. Picked up a nice shiney 3K engine today for not much really and picked it up in a hire van. Took some rubbish down the tip as well - so missus is pleased! Yeah - 140kg felt about right as I took it out of the back of the van...!

2.2 engine weighs approx 140kg's. Most courier's don't go over 30kgs! Anybody know (a good) one that does provide a cheap reliable service for sending an engine say 200 miles? Paul

Yes - thanks all for your support and advice. I think that it is all connected - end result is that more damage has been caused by oil starvation - so don't want to mess around at that level. :shock: Looking at a reasonably priced bottom end - need a cyclinder head as well as I cannot be sure...

Thanks for the offer. Just had enough - I would prefer a complete engine or bottom end so that I can rebuild mine. Wife has had enough of me 'fixing the car'!

On the flat.... :D Going up hill puts you at risk when light is on as I found out once. Luckily - managed to coast a couple of miles down the other side to find a petrol station. Interesting turning and stopping with no engine.... :shock:
