New Engine Needed!

Well - totally fed up as I need new bottom end on my car - crank damaged! cryb..
Didn't want to mess about rebuilding - so looking to drop in a low mileage unit in.
Does anybody know how many hours to change an engine on a Zafira?
I can work out cost of labour in garage.
Also - if anybody knows of a low mileage unit - great cheers..

Thanks for the offer.
Just had enough - I would prefer a complete engine or bottom end so that I can rebuild mine.
Wife has had enough of me 'fixing the car'!

sorry 2h about your engine m8 i take it the oil light fix did not go 2 well then.hope u get one at a good price soon.

Yes - thanks all for your support and advice.
I think that it is all connected - end result is that more damage has been caused by oil starvation - so don't want to mess around at that level. :eek:
Looking at a reasonably priced bottom end - need a cyclinder head as well as I cannot be sure that cam/followers haven't been damaged.

Alternatively - might source a completye drop in engine.
Anybody know the price of a new crate engine from Vauxhall?

Yeah - saw that.
The Y reg and 37K miles put me off though - just doesn;'t sound right? notsure.gif
Mind you - could be a little old lady's car who used the car to pick up her weekly shopping.
Is it just me?
