Fiat 500 EML

Make sure you rag the bollocks out of the courtesy car they provide!

Saying that, you paid for the warranty so you shouldn't have to do anything apart from deliver the car to them. They have to do the arranging with Fiat and just let you know whats going on.
Yep, that's exactly what I said to them. I "politely" asked them how it was my problem that they couldn't do the work, and explained the next time I see the car is when it's fixed and ready for me to collect. What they need to do until that point is not my problem.

Nice car (y) couple of them in our estate tell them to keep the 500 and all your problems solved ;)
I dont think that is an option :)
As much as I'd like to do that, I don't think they'd swap a 2009 Fiat 500 for the 2013 B-Max (n)

Amy's been driving the Audi more since we got that, so I am tempted to look at getting rid of the 500. I'd like to swap it for a 2004/2005 A4 Avant

That would be another option. I do fancy an estate, as the A3 is still not quite as big as we are going to need for the holidays in Cornwall.

Had a call from the garage this evening (17:50) asking if we'd had the cambelt changed on the car??

Told them we hadn't (as we haven't), as it's not due until the car is 5 years old or 70,000 miles according to the service book. It's not been serviced since we bought the car from them in November 2012 as they serviced it as part of the deal, and the service light hasn't come on (2 years for oil and filter).

Not sure what they are trying to get at with that one??

Timing out? Asking if its been to another garage for belt change and trying to pass the buck, by saying thats the problem?

That's what I've been thinking. I was wondering if the belt might have slipped and knocked the timing out a degree or two? Suppose we'll hear something today from them.

Reckon u get the 500 back tomorrow? Or still no word?
Been arguing with them today over the warranty again! 18,000 miles between services, regardless of time according to the fiat handbook, but Ford are saying they want 12 months between services. We are 13 months since they did it last time. Had to send them copies of the fiat handbook with the intervals in it.

So they've not touched it and just trying to worm out of it? Surely if they sent the car to fiat to sort out. Fiat would confirm they service intervals?
