Re: 180 so far
Ignore that Alanoo. I was trying to compare the dyno charts I got after last weeks "custom" map, when I got the car back from TMS/Superchips. The graphs (and numbers) I got didn't make much sense so I tried to digitise the graphs (the torque numbers from Superchips were in nm's) and wanted to compare them with my previous charts but, for some reason when Dyno-plot calculates the bhp from them it reckons I come out with 216bhp, which I wish was the case!
Here's what the charts look like for real:-

Hugely disappointed. Compared with my StageII+, I've got a max gain of 3.5bhp but 1200rpm higher up the range and also lost 15-20% of my torque across the entire range, with peak torque being delivered 1,000rpm higher. No idea what number my previous "custom" map from 3 weeks before was, as Superchips didn't supply any paperwork although what they did give me, was massive over fuelling on cold start that would have caused bore wash and did almost knock me out due to the fumes. Still have my EML/limp mode issues as well.
For reference the mods are as follows:-
ITG induction kit
2.0SC throttle body
2.4 inlet manifold
ported head
Piper cams of some form (we think)
4-1 exhaust manifold
balancer shafts removed
lightened flywheel
TMS fitted and then had to remove the SC injectors as Superchips couldn't map them.
Also got a huge fuel leak from somehwere on the nearside and hoping it's just the filter and not the ProAlloy tank or fuel pump. So all in all, not the most successful tuning program ever undertaken. Am very disheartened by the whole thing and re-assessing things now.
