Well just got my car back, with it fitted. The car sounds nicer, slightly better response but that is about it from my little drive around the block.

Will see what it is like after a long drive tomorrow.

TBH i dont think it has added any BHP at all.

Well after my 40 mile drive this morning, I think it has helped alot with lower down power it feels alot less ristrictive right from the start.

I deff would not say that it is worth regals price tag.

If it has added any BHP i dont really know until i get back on the RR.

For owners that have a VX though the weight difference to the gains that you may get with it, may be a pointless purchase?

Are you still runing the standard Cat Si? Perhaps thats still holding it back, as with anything, its only as good as the weekest part of the system. I noticed a massive improvment when I fitted my manifold so I cant explain why your not feeling any gain, perhaps the overall package needs a little tweaking to see the benefits.

Yeah, he's still running standard cat. He mentioned that he may look at getting a sports cat and downpipe

Pitty its an Astra, i've got a almost brandnew Hoffmann S/S downpipe including 200 cell cat and precat removed for sell next week.

Sorry in the delay in responding.

The car has now done a few hundred miles and the ECU must have re-learnt. I can now tell a difference. Like you say i think i am getting held up with the down pipe and cat hopefully this will be rectified later this yeah, as funds are a bit low at the moment.

Johnny could the vectra one not be modded to fit the astra?
