I cud make a downpipe up using the cat and flange from that.....would need a larger dia flexi tho,and the cat wud need the entrance and exit opened up to take the 2.5in pipe....

Johnny, are you still using the Hoffmann pipe ?

Have you any issues with it ?

The Hoffmann pipe was fantastic although very expensive. No issues with it whatsoever. I'm running a high spec engine and just want to gain every extra bit of power that I can to make use of the current mods. I have a 2.5 inch Milltek cat back system and it made sense to upgrade to 2.5 inch on the downpipe too.

Do you really think it'll release upto 15bhp, as their site quoted ?

It seems quite a claim dunno..

Not a chance on 15bhp. I would probably say upto 10 bhp gain. When they arrive from Hoffmann they still have the precat in. I removed it the day after it arrived. You'll find a good gain on torque with it though.

Perhaps you should tell them about the pre cat, so then they could claim 20+bhp improvement 😃

I fitted my dibilas manifold at the weekend.

Apart from the weight, good improvement all round. Seems to have restored the lost torque from the 2.4 manifold.

Yes mate. You have to translate everything thru' an online translator if you can't speak the lingo.

I bought one of these manifolds after reviewing this post....It's now installed and the engine seems to rev better (specially around 5.000 rpms) and may be gain some power there showo..

I installed my manifold today. Really happy with the quality and fit.
I couldn't get my stock heat shield over the manifold, only the top two studs. Now it rattles when flooring it.
Did you guys modify it, leave it off or other?

I just had some washers put on with a strip of metal to pin it in place to stop it rattling.

I cut about a square inch off mine near the bottom screw where it was fouling the manifold. It fits alright then. I knew it wouldnt fit without modification before I started thanks to a freind, so I test fitted it all together on the bench first. Sorry if i didnt remember to warn you in this post. Ill see if i can get a pic sometime.
