JohnnyN The impression that I got from Jon Shield on Monday was that my car was running fine on the standard T/B with the Courtenay CS5 package. There's certainly a problem with the 68mm T/B. The car is fine on full throttle but the ECU is having a paddy under normal driving conditions. It doesn't like all that air coming in and shuts the throttle.
Europa_Blue_SE1 Hey John you don't happen to know if mine will run fine without the uprated cams even if I just have the Inlet put in till I get the car booked in for a live remap? dunno.. As I said to you before I'll be heading down some time soon after the New Year and am planning on paying Courtenay a visit 😃 so I think I might just leave the throttle body for them to deal with if they're having problems with yours... notsure.gif Oh yea and noticed the post about Marks S/C Astra so would you say it's worth the money then was it really fast then mate??? 8) cheers.. Alan
JohnnyN Hope this causes no offence but it was fast as fook!! Quicker than hell fire whilst being poked in the bum by a baseball bat! It'll be the best money that you've ever spent mate. showo..
Europa_Blue_SE1 PMSL rofl.. ... WOW sounds like a deff then... showo.. By the way I really love the way you put that John!!!  class
JohnnyN The torque is just unbelieveable! The sound is amazing! The power delivery is very strong and smooth all the way thru'. Like I mentioned before, under normal driving it behaves just like a standard car under you hit the loud pedal and then your balls go north to your neck!

A11VXL Manifold Update Those of you who have received the new manifolds will have seen that they are all boxed within another much bigger and stronger box, this is because on Saturday myself and 2 friends came in to sort & pack all the manifolds, we had packed all but 30 when we found our first breakage then we found a few more! At this point we had to unpack open & check every one and re-package them so survive the onward journey to you. The net result is that we have 12 damaged manifolds  we did order a few for our stock but unfortunately we have 8 people who have not yet received a manifold. I will be in touch with these 8 shortly. Cheers Jon
2_2_SRI_150 cheers for the phone call jon 🙁 cant belive it 🙁 not ur fault they cant pakage things properly ....
Muncher83 A bit of araldite should sort them, they're certainly not beyond salvage. Certainly gutting for the people who may miss out 🙁

I led to belive the fault table would need rewriting or something? dunno.. Lets Hope courntney can sort it out, theres certainly a market for the solution.
vocky they can be repaired, cut the top flat, drill and fit a brass adaptor I cut off and blanked that 'take off' as my 2.0 sc TB already had it
