If I already have TMS remap (stage 1) with raised rev limit am I putting my car at risk with bolting the 2.4 manifold straight on or should I wait for a 2.4 remap to be released?
It's difficult to say for sure dunno.. My experience would suggest that a STAGE 2 remap just causes the car to run lean, but I have no idea if a stage 1 map would react differently.
If I was in your shoes I'd probably fit the mani when it was convenient to do so (Christmas holiday?), but keep the revs down a bit (5k RPM ish) 'till you get it RR'd / specific 2.4 mani remapped.
I could be scare mongering re: cars with remaps that fit the 2.4 mani, but we wont know if its just my car that reacted that way until more people get their cars AFR measured with these mods in place.
