I've booked the week after next off as holiday just before the vx220 national trackday to give this a go following Vockys method (just hope I've got enough time to get the car back together!)
Looking at the VX220 technical manual it looks as though the engine could be dropped enough to remove the balance shafts which I will try first.
My only concerns are hammering the rear bearings 7.5mm further into the block - really don't want to get this wrong! How much is the margin of error for this?
