tofferson evocarlos said: you wont 🙂 what ever the size of the bore the gap in the ring is the same I know with the 86.0mm pistons the 2nd ring don't even need touching but you should still check the gap the top ring will need adjusting Yer I checked them and they are very close, just need to rig my dremmel up and give it a bash
tofferson Ok so all rings gapped and ready to fit except one that was damaged. So on with blocking oil ways for balance shaft removal no matter how much I try bending my eyes I cannot seem to see oil way so no idea if it's blocked 🙂
tofferson Other jobs I've done new expansion tank this time with a float lol New front wheel bearing and both shocker top bearings.
tofferson evocarlos said: is that drive shaft ok ? thread looks a bit funky Just a bit of damage on the end but I ran the old castle nut up and down a few times to clean it up a bit for new one lol
tofferson Why do talk settings never seem tight enuff lol Checked with 3 torque wrenches so should be fine
tofferson evocarlos said: you know the 70 is degrees and not nm ? Yer 20nm then 70 degrees, i just meant torque settings as a rule just never feel that much lol 🙂
evocarlos the bolts are black its got to be some kind of phosphoric acid 🙂 i want some to lol i was looking at getting stainless steel acid to clean small parts but its dear
tofferson It's our wheel stripping acid hydrofloric I think didn't leave it in long in case it started to etch
tofferson Put some pink round exhaust ports with a sharpie then scribed through the gasket to get a line to open ports up to.
